This course includes online learning material and practical face to face sessions. The practical sessions are held at our training academy in Manchester City Centre.
You can learn at your own pace and on your own schedule making it easy to fit into your busy lifestyle.

In order to pass the course, you must complete assignments, exams and practical observations on clients.
The VTCT Level 2 Beauty Therapy course covers the following;
-Manicure
You will cover Luxury treatments such as warm oil, heated mitts and thermal booties, exfoliation and paraffin wax. You will learn how to buff the nails and apply normal polish including french polish.
-Pedicure
You will cover Luxury treatments such as exfoliation, thermal booties and paraffin wax. You will learn how to buff the nails and apply normal polish including french polish
-Waxing
You will cover warm and hot waxing techniques.

Basic bikini
Full leg

-Eye treatments
You will learn how to tint the eyelashes and eyebrows. You will learn how to measure and shape the eyebrows to suit the client. You will also learn how to apply party lashes (cluster lashes) and strip lashes.
-Facial
You will learn how to perform a facial and cover the following;
Client consultation
Cleansing routine
Skin analysis
Exfoliation
Steam and extraction
Massage routine
Mask application
After care advice
-Make-up
You will learn how to apply make-up professionally and cover the following looks;
Day make-up
Evening make-up
Special occasion make-up
-Reception Duties
You will meet and greet clients, ensure the salon is running smoothly, answer the telephone and organise stock etc
-Salon Manager
You will ensure the smooth running of the Salon and work as a team player to help other students
-Health & Safety
You will be aware of the hazards and the risks involved in running a Salon and how to operate safely and in line with current legislation
Kit
Option to purchase a kit for £150 including VAT.
Kit includes products for Manicure, Pedicure, Eye treatments and Facial.

Q. Will I get a certificate?
A. Yes, upon completion of the course, your work will be internally and externally verified. Once all the checks have taken place, your certificate will be on its way from VTCT.
Q. Is it a proper certificate?
A. It is yes. VTCT are a leading regulated awarding body and recognised worldwide.
You will be able to gain insurance, work independently such as from home or as a mobile therapist, work in a Salon/Spa/Clinic, travel abroad or open up your own Clinic etc.
